Dragan Paljic's goal sealed Wisla victory over Widzew yesterday. The Serbian player with a German passport recorded his second appearance in Ekstraklasa, first in the starting eleven. After a final whistle Dragan shared his joy with journalists: - A week ago I was a substitute. We lost but showed a decent game in the second half. Now I played from the very beginning and I scored. I was served by Maly, I found myself unattended and tried to shoot with my right leg. And I did it! I hope I will be selected for the starting eleven next time.
Dragan says the match in Lodz was difficult. We were lucky - after the break we did not play football... Nonetheless, we scooped the pool and nothing else matters. We fought for each other, we did our job well.
